Battle Mountain

While the hotel has seen better days it still represents a great value. Clean rooms with a comfortable bed big bathroom, and a refrigerator and microwave. Andrew at the front desk was helpful and very courteous. Highly recommend.

Room was spacious and clean. It's nice that it's off the interstate so no truck noise all night. Though it was near train tracks, but only noticed one train going by during my stay. Desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating for my room preference.

No in-room coffee, lobby had none, and was not normally open except during posted check-in and check-out times. Ice maker was broken. Just a substandard low cost motel option. Right next to a rail crossing where the freight trains blow their whistles.

Well the towels were clean.. First room they gave me the bathroom light was out and the fridge didn't work, second room the microwave didn't work, the bed had a significant lean to one side so I had to sleep diagonally to not roll off, pretty sure the last time the carpets were cleaned was when they were installed in the late 80s?, the black mold in the shower of both rooms was thriving, some pink mold growing in the fridge may have been having a cage match with the green mold in the evenings once everyone was sleeping. Thankfully only a few spiders and what made me think of male reproductive bodily fluid on the curtains and chair.. all in all I hope I don't have bedbugs and lice now.
