Vacations Close To Battelle Riverfront Park

Great location, nice people

Traveling with my young daughter - the property is tucked back in a quiet private area. I liked that I was able to lock both screen doors in addition to the front keypad lock for a piece of mind with safety (anywhere I go traveling just the two of us) property was cute, clean, and perfectly located. Parking was easy. My only advice is KCUP coffee pods & additional creamer for my coffee in the morning, so I didn’t have to DoorDash! Otherwise I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay! The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in at any hotel. The staff were all very friendly. Will definitely stay here again!

Terrible experience. We booked 5 months in advance, and they gave away our larger 1-bedroom suite and replaced it with a simple single room with 2 queen beds. First, they claimed it was due to "a contract they had with OSU hospital," then they blamed third party apps (i.e. Expedia) for over booking the rooms. Then we found that the heat in the room wasn't functioning properly, so we froze all night. There was no hair dryer so had to go to front desk to get one, thought it wasn't working then discovered the outlet was nonfunctional in the bathroom. The free breakfast was terrible, hashbrowns cold and crunchy, fruit was flavorless, and pancakes cold. Will never go here again and in fact would avoid Hyatt wherever we go!

The Sonesta was under massive construction which was not mentioned when booking. Additionally, the price of the room was +$400 a night for a tired, low popcorn-ceilinged room. The hallway carpet was dirty and pilled and in need of replacing. A 2-night minimum was required because of activities happening in Columbus so for a tired, under construction, non-updated room it was $1k with taxes and fees. I have stayed in $100 a night hotels that seem like a luxury hotel comparatively. One other thing to note, their computer system was so old it still required credit card swipes versus taps. Would not stay here again or recommend at this price point.

Upon our arrival we realized that the staff / danger gave away our Ada room. Unacceptable as I was unable to use the restroom for the first thing we were there until they could get us into another room. Handicap rooms are a necessity for me. Manager offered me 3,000 points. Not acceptable
