The local circus was entertaining abd helps support local children and families, so it's well worth checking out. The bamboo train is exploitative and not worth the stress of being pressured to buy items, pay beggers, or tip the "conductor" to return

We loved the Bamboo train! It was worth our trip to Battambang. The countryside was beautiful and the whole train concept was fun

I was expecting a bit more. Expect to kayak and bike but with dry conditions not as appealing. Very hot and humid in May. Don't miss going out to the bat cave. French colonial government buildings were beautiful, but many were not.
