I stayed at the Western Inn in Gonzales, LA for one night on a leisure trip and had a really pleasant experience. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made check-in smooth and easy. The room was clean and comfortable — perfect for a quick stop. It’s a simple place, but well-kept and in a convenient location. Great value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.
I have read not so good reviews, but i had no problems with anything. I have stayed at the hotel 3 times and all good. I would not have went back if I had a problem. Its as advertised, a good hotel.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Soon as I walked in the room and went in the bathroom there was a roach on the side of the bathtub. The washing machine or dryer either one works.there are two tv’s in the room that you half to use one remote to change channels and the other remote for volume. It will definitely be my last stay here the cleaning lady’s are nice and do a good job it’s the building that’s old and needs to be remodeled the tile is coming off the wall in the bathroom I definitely don’t recommend this place
Good hotel surrounded by an abundance of businesses.

Disliked: Amenities
The room smells like wet carpet. (Mold)
The bathroom door was warped and the wood was falling out of the bottom of the door.
My son and I now have sinus infections and I think it’s from the mold/wet. Very upset.
Much better than expected for the price. The other people staying at the hotel drank in the parking lot until midnight were up again at 5:00am, but it was clean and cheap. I would definitely stay here again.
Table was broken, walls were covered with yellow stuff and brown stuff. Smelled like THC and cigarettes. Had to chanfe rooms and stull had a stiff as a board mattresses
Not a fancy hotel, but comfortable and clean. My stay was for four nights and the lack of a coffee maker in the room or available at the front desk was my only real disappointment. Staff was friendly and helpful.
