Nice place. Love staying at Springhill Suites when possible because their rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Free parking. Plenty of restaurants close by. We walked across the street and ate at a good Mexican restaurant.

Check in was quick and easy, front desk was nice, very professional. We chose this hotel because of the location, came to Gonzales to spend time with family for Christmas. We checked in and put our bags in the room and left to go to festivities at family members home. When we got back, which was late. We noticed small things, indicating the room wasn’t cleaned well. Gum stuck on the glass partition (window that separates the desk and the bed). Toilet paper holder had dust on it, crumbs on the side of the night stand, the floor felt sticky and the shower had broken handles. Looks like had broken handles/missing fixtures. Are family previously said here and definitely won’t be coming back.

Staff were very courteous and helpful. However, my room was kinda dirty. Carpet was very much in need of vacuuming. The drinking glasses were both dirty/dusty despite being covered in plastic (to signify they are clean). Ice bucket was dirty/dusty inside. Had to wipe desk with a washcloth because it was sticky. There was a long, dark hair on the sheets when I pulled the comforter back to get in bed. I can understand each of these things individually (except for the lack of vacuuming), but combined it shows a general lack of proper and thorough cleaning.
