I would stay here again. The hotel was clean and the staff is friendly. The location was perfect. There are many different food choices nearby and the area was safe. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the onsite bar.

I loved everything about this place. The breakfast and the bar was my top spots. Uopn arriving, they give you chips/tokens to use at the bar during their happy hour(definitely used them all)!!!!! Bayhroom was small but the water pressure was on point. Next time, will be taking my drink out by the hot tub.

Rooms are outdated a lot. Front desk was amazing when the AC wasn’t working it was fixed quickly. Breakfast was amazing!!! It was the weekend and kind of cool outside in south Louisiana so there is an indoor pool, we met with a few guests that said they were having a birthday party so there was ALOT of kids at the pool and running around the hotel all night and early in the morning.

This has been the hotel of choice for 3 years in a row. However, on the most recent visit, the hotel seems to have took a turn for the worse. I will start with the lobby- the “leather” on the chairs was peeling & the sofas need a good shampooing. The TV’s in the sitting area were not working (sound, but no picture). The elevators were slow due to children playing on them. The door to our room was difficult to open. A roach was crawling on the TV stand. The check-in staff was very friendly. The checkout staff would not get off her personal cell phone to answer questions that I had.

Room was a little skipped over cleaning wise while we were there. A cup was left out and some trash. No one came to clean the room while we were out most of the day. Looked like the hotel had just seen a lot of people over the years. Staff was SO sweet and helpful. The highlight was the breakfast bar which was 10/10. It was kinda weird to have a room with a window with no discernible view. Not sure if all rooms like that due to location. Not a bad place for a couple nights stay, thrifty and easy to drive to downtown without being in downtown.
