On the whole, the hotel looks very posh and cosy. Toilet is of a good size and clean. But the room was rather small for 3 person(2D1C). There was this drilling going on through the night. I could hear/feel it even from the 19th floor.

We were genuinely surprised how highly tech the hotel was. Modern and cleaned. Conveniently located with grand batam mall right beside it. You are able to walk to the mall with the linkage shared between the hotel and mall with no issue. If you have a big family, hotel rooms can be linked with doors in between the rooms.

The oakwood hotel is centrally located to shopping mall and shop jouses across the road. Plenty of options to dine and walk around. There are many massage spa around which provided clean & professional services. The ambience of the hotel is good too. Breakfast spread is decent. Staff are polite.

Hotel is right across from the Grand Batam mall which is argulably the newest and best mall in Batam. There are multiple massage and spa establishments nearby, and it is about a 15 minute cab ride from the ferry terminal. Hotel is new and feels that way. Only gripe I had was that the aircon didn't seem to get cold enough, and there was a strange smell in the lobby.

It was an exceptional experience. I was checked in and checked out by Ms Nara, who was super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed talking with all their counter staff in fact. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast spread was good and tasty. The location of the hotel was really good. Grand Mall Batam is just next door and connected with the hotel. Nagoya Hill Shopping centre is just a 5 mins drive away. There are also 3 really good Spas located just beside the hotel. All in all, it was a wonderful stay in the hotel and i would definitely bring my family here again.

Had a pleasant 2N stay at the hotel. The service from the front reception to bell boy is excellent. Was greeted by Mr Willy who is very friendly and patiently responded to my questions on my room request. Very pleased to note that my room was available before checkin time and my special request has been satisfied. I highly recommend this hotel for it's excellent service, great location and eco friendliness (no use of plastic and having recycling bins at all levels).

Hotel is located strategically, very convenient through the linked bridge to Grand Batam Mall. There was lots of food option around the mall. Many spa around the location as well. Staff was friendly and warm. They were also very responsive through email enquiry. Breakfast has a wide spread of variety and room was very clean.

Check-In time should be prompt not late, have waited one hour plus to check in and no extension of check- out hours has been extended to us… Hope this part could see improvement when we stay again. Other than that, the hotel is clean and spacious and very strategically near to Grand Batam Mall which is a huge plus point where food and shopping is within walk. Hotel staffs are friendly and polite. There is a Water dispenser at the end of hotel room corridor that provides drinking water which in my opinion, very thoughtful and convenient for everyone needs.

Stay here!

All good, great choice to stay here. Currently 4 months in operation, few teething problems and staff readiness issues are there, but give them 2 more months. Restaurant food should go delicious and hearty and forgo pretentiousness. A beautiful hotel like this should not place fake plastic plants in any corner. All the best!

Very new Hotel. I booked the executive studio, so the room was big and plenty comfortable. It's connected to the Grand Batam mall just next door and I don't need to walk outside to access the mall, which is very convenient. The only bad thing was that noise isolation from outside is poor. I could hear car noises form the outside. And for some reason they are doing some kind of remodeling/construction either upstairs or downstairs on a Saturday. I could hear the electric saw noises and hammer banging sounds. I understand you need to do remodeling sometimes, but Saturdays are busy and mostly likely have a customer on other rooms. So, should pick a less busy day to do it.

Booked 3 rooms in total. Rooms were cozy and relatively clean but 2 out of 3 rooms had a musky smell. The hotel should put a dehumidifier to get rid of the musky smell. Additionally, the sound proofing of the rooms weren't that great either. We could hear noises coming from neighbouring units beside and above. For the price point, honestly not that value for money. Great hospitality though!
