Great hotel, central to many nice places in Portugal while also offering great facilities. The restaurant is really good, amazing staff! The spa is just what you need after a long day of sight seeing. I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend this hotel with no hesitations!

What a beautiful property and the spa circuit is wonderful from the steam room, cold plunge bucket, dry sauna to the indoor heated pool & Turkish bath. The rooms are lovely and the staff are so attentive. Breakfast was wonderful as well including omelettes made on request. Great location. The morning fog/mist rose up above the monastery, lovely. They have a conference room that can seat 100 people and I would definitely consider hosting an event there. 10/10 highly recommend.

Coffee and tea bags in room not replenished. Apparently you have pay for additional tea bags. Sauna and indoor pool looks great but why do you charge €15 per person for 1.5 hours Map of grounds clearly shows access to town via gate at bottom of property for easy access. Nowhere it is stated that this entrance is locked and not operational as of yet
