Overall: Good stay, but limited food options The breakfast here was really excellent — fresh, tasty, and plenty of choice. That was definitely the highlight of my stay. However, the lunch and dinner options are quite limited. The menu is mostly sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and steaks — not much variety at all. In my opinion, the food just isn't worth the price. On the plus side, the drinks are reasonably priced for a hotel.

It’s a good hotel and I recommend it. The rooms aren’t too well insulated corridor wise so it cam be a bit noisy with people passing…suggest asking for a room at the end of the corridor if that’s an issue. Pools are good as are the facilities

Lovely modern airy hotel, superb for pickleball comp and easy parking. Set next to several large shops for coffee, food etc Only downside was the price of food in the restaurant and nowhere close by to walk to for food and level of staff eg coffee bar only one serving and left without getting a drink due to time required to get served

Good food and a clean and very comfortable room. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The facilities included full spa services including very good facials and the rest of the treatments. The swimming pools were clean and were providing experiences for small children whilst rhe other pool catered for over 18s. It was a relaxed and very comfortable way to spend 24 hours catching up with my sister. The only down points we found were that we could not open the balcony door even after a strong member of staff had done so and we felt they badly needed a garden designer to I prove the central garden area. They said that the regular gardeners would be coming in but we felt that to really make the most of that area it would need designers and some investment.

The bad: Probably my incorrect expectations but was expecting room AC for a 4* The ugly: Brave the unlit path, if you dare, to get to the Chineham shopping centre. No fault of the hotel but Hampshire County Council should sort this out as its an accident waiting to happen!

The room was clean and 2 members of staff out of the dozen I saw were friendly and nice. Apart from that, the place needs some serious refurbs doing. Lost door handles, broken window catches, ripped curtains and no aircon in the room I was in on the hottest 2 nights of the year to that point. Just a dusty old fan that was so loud I couldn't hear the storm outside that washed the pigeon skeletons across the flat roof bit to right outside my window. Parking was convenient and the breakfast was ok. Maybe service is better when there's more people but apart from the 1st lad that booked me in and the young girl serving dinner, the rest were miserable. Must say though, the coach load of pensioners had some eye opening conversations
