It’s a quiet hotel in a rural area so not exactly ’buzzing’. As it’s an older building with add-ons finding your way to some bedrooms can be a story. It’s all fine, but not exactly a memorable experience.

The executive suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. Handy little fridge in the room. I am gluten and wheat free and there were plenty of options for meals so was a good selection. Food was above expectations. Prices are competitive and you definitely get yours monies worth. All in all a wonderful stay in a beautiful setting.

Had a lovely family celebratory stay. Stayed in an executive room and it was very spacious and clean. Dinner was enjoyable without being out of this world. Breakfast was far greater value and the offering was very good with a buffet style element alongside an a la carte menu to choose hot items from (as many as you like). The staff were very friendly. The food was very good. The restaurant, whilst pleasant, was not exceptional. A table for two was cramped for space. The bar next to the restaurant was soulless. We had a pleasant stay, but, I'm not sure I would rush back.
