The customer service is outstanding! The staff behind the counter and the guest services have been so helpful. The location is right in front of a tram stop, public transportation is free for guests. We will definitely stay here again!

Cumbersome WiFi process

Returned to the hotel almost 10 yrs after it was the Ramada - not much had changed but getting on the WiFi was cumbersome so just used my hotspot! Not ideal for business travellers and for this reason, I’ll stay elsewhere in Basel next time

Very comfortable, modern hotel

I really liked the hotel. It is comfortable, the rooms have good beds and pillows, large TV, minibar, great view on Basel and the nearest tram stop is just in front of the hotel. The check-out time of 12:00 is also generous. My only disappointment was that the temporary closure of the fitness room was not updated on hotels.com but together with the friendly reception staff we found a solution that kept me happy. Thank you! :)

We stayed there before a Viking Cruise although Viking did not make the reservation. The Viking agents were there so we could ask questions but we opted for an Uber instead of the Viking transfer. The ship was 8 minutes away from the hotel.
