We stayed here our last night of our European trip as we had a 6 am flight. The 50 bus stops right next to the hotel and is less than a 10 min ride directly to the terminal (first bus is at 6:15 a.m.) Hotel was incredibly clean and the front desk was very helpful. Basel Cards for the day were already prepared pre-areival. We were allowed to check in 2 hours early since a comparable room was prepared and clean.

Although the design aesthetic was a bit too gaudy for me, this was just a one night stay and the room was as I expected. The staff were incredibly helpful….despite the shuttle bus officially only running between 6am and 9pm, the hotel picked us up at the airport and 9.30pm and returned us to the airport at 5.30am….we did not expect or insist on this, but they kindly offered, despite us saying we would get a taxi. Great service!

If you want a fancy hotel that will charge you a fortune, this is not the place for you. But if you want a hotel that's very well located (5 minutes by bus from the airport), lovely staff, always friendly and happy to help, great food, with easy free public transport to the centre of town, this is your place. We couldn't be happier with our choice of a hotel and I highly recommend it.
