What a lovely place to stay in Basalt! We got a room facing the river and it did not disappoint! The patio area is quaint, charming and tranquil. Literally steps from the door, you can hear the river flow all night. The price is fair and everything you need is in walking distance. Parking is plentiful and secure.
Continental breakfast has a good selection. Nothing fancy, but it fills the belly 😊

The hotel is right next to the Fryingpan River. Peaceful sounds of water over rocks, small table and chairs right outside your door to sit at to adsorb the serenity of the location. The construction noise was minimal on the side by the river. There's a great restaurant next door serving mountain trout. The breakfast was substantial with breakfast burritos and hard boiled eggs, and a variety of breads and and waffles for the carbs.

We loved our room that was next to the river!! The staff was extremely helpful with our needs. Our only complaint was the lack of AC. A fan was provided but it was still 80 degrees when going to bed at night on the 2nd floor- with the windows open!!

Stayed for 2 nights there, the room was very clean and maids even took the time to fold the towels nicely and made it feel welcoming. The breakfast was good and there was a 3 hour window for breakfast which was nice. Staff is friendly and overall the place was really nice. Thank you for our stay!

Terrific location, clean and comfortable rooms, a bargain for the area, safe and quiet at night. Comfy beds, nice quality sheets, and a good variety for breakfast included. The property is clean, has a great location and is well maintained. Unfortunately, their front desk help was not so "helpful." I left a message on their voicemail every day for 3 days in advance of my visit, as I had a question. No one ever called me back, and I had to drive all the way to the property - early on the day of my stay in order to get the question answered. The girl at the desk Gabby, was very rude.
