The twelve was an excellent stay, so nice to have a suite style hotel with an extra wet bar and couch room. The record players in the room were a lot of fun. Because of this place, I’ll always remember Meatloaf’s “Bat out of hell”. Staff was great and the restaurant for breakfast and dinner room serve was excellent.

Beginning with the welcoming letter with a treat from their bakery to the goodbyes of a carry out coffee, everything was wonderful. Convenient amenities, local parking, gorgeous rooms with everything you need, and wonderfully friendly staff helped make our girls trip to Galway restful and enjoyable. There is nothing we can complain about this absolutely perfect hotel!

A nice pet-friendly hotel that is a bit dated. It's designed as a luxury hotel, but maintenance can be improved. Breakfast was ok, but nothing to write home about. It has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable, but it's not the best bang for the money.

A little expensive for the accommodation.

The hotel was clean and large and had convenient amenities like a good coffee and tea selection. While I appreciated the unique decor, we did not find the beds very comfortable and the room was not cozy. We also left clothes in our room and when we inquired about them we were told that they were not found. 😕 Pluses are that there is a great restaurant onsite and we really enjoyed our meals there. The included breakfast was fantastic.

The property is located in a quiet part of North Galway. Close to the water in about 15 minutes from Salthill. Unfortunately there are a few drawbacks. Including lack of communication between the bar staff and the tables in the Gastro bar after clarifying our tab would be sent to our table it was not. 11 PM wake up call to clear the tab was very unprofessional! Went downstairs to the next morning to settle up we were told there is not bill and not to worry. After leaving The Twelve, we received a call in route to Dublin asking for our card number to pay for the original tab in the bar we try to settle two different times. We explained the circumstances to the lady who called us from reception, at which point she did not have any understanding or concerned for our inconvenience and just said what's your card number. This is exactly why we will not be able to recommend The Twelve to other people traveling to Galway.
