“Booked as we had an early flight from East Midlands airport. Owner met us soon after we arrived. Nice room, great comfy bed, very good shower. Advised there was a good restaurant just down the road (15 min walk) which we visited and had a very tasty meal. Left in the morning too early for breakfast, but not host’s fault. Very good nights sleep. Plenty of parking. Road to airport a bit narrow and windy, but we made it in plenty of time. Would recommend.”

“Love the location. Staff that I met were v friendly. The food was excellent and well worth the stay. The room was comfortable and pleased to see coffee bags rather than the disgusting tubes of Nescafe which most hotels do. There were a couple pf things which werent so good but it wouldnt stop me staying again. In the evening the water took a while to warm up which was ok however in the morning it didnt at all. I had a wet shave waiting for it to heat up so shave was in cold water and shower was...
