Great hotel next to the train station and plenty of restaurants in Bari. Breakfast was delicious. The room was super clean. We enjoyed the sunset at the rooftop bar. The staff was very helpful and suggested a few restaurants nearby that we have tried and loved.

We had a lovely stay at Il Leon D'Oro - we were given a lovely room on the 9th floor which was modern, clean and quiet at the same time despite being located in the city centre of Bari Both reception and check in staff were lovely and helpful Good variety in breakfast We even had a late drink on the rooftop bar one night whicha gain was a nice touch Thank you again!

If I could give this hotel 20 stars, I would. It’s practically brand new (less than five months old) and everything about it is exceptional. The location is perfect—right across from the bus station, with a pedestrian walkway behind the hotel that leads you through all the best shops in Bari, straight into Old Town and down to the ocean. No cars, just a beautiful walk. The hotel itself is state-of-the-art, thoughtfully designed, fully accessible, and equipped with fast, modern elevators. Every detail in the rooms is well planned and comfortable. Parking is incredibly convenient—just about 20 steps to the right of the hotel. It can be a little tricky to find at first, but once you do, it couldn’t be easier. The staff truly made the experience. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and attentive. The included breakfast was outstanding—one of the best we’ve had. And the rooftop bar? Absolutely amazing. Great atmosphere, excellent food, a talented chef, fantastic music, and a bartender who really made the experience special. This hotel exceeded every expectation. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Love love love this hotel , ideally located 2 min walk from train station . Great base for day trips . Also close to bus station which we used to visit Alberobello. Rooftop bar contemporary as is the rest of the hotel , not traditional Italian inside but that’s why I loved the contemporary/modern feel. Would definitely visit again, can’t wait… Only downfall is no pool but too busy exploring the city to notice .

We had a late arrival by train and an early departure so really appreciated the convenience to the train terminal. The area didn’t have much to offer in terms of charm or ambiance, but the hotel was a lovely oasis and great stop over for us. Staff was great, room was lovely, clean, equipped and quiet. And again, th location worked out great for us.

Very conveniently located close to the train station and a short distance to the old town. The airport bus stop is just outside the hotel. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. They offered suggestions for restaurants and directions to anywhere we asked. The breakfast buffet was adequate except that we have to pay for fried eggs when we asked for it.
