We appreciated the great service from the desk clerks, who helped us with transportation options to get to the Old Town and also to order a taxi to the airport. We also really appreciated an early check in. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The restaurant and breakfast area with outdoor terrace is on the 3rd floor and has a lovely view across to the sea. While this is not an especially fancy hotel, it was a great choice for us at a reasonable price. The taxi ride to the airport was pretty quick and at a flat rate. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Superb hotel. Wonderful service and value.

Staff were excellent and the food in the restaurant fantastic. Had evening meal, superb value and delicious. Breakfast choices were fabulous. Very safe parking for my motorcycle too.

Whilst we had a generally positive experience at the hotel (location, staff, excellent breakfast), this was spoiled by the fact that a bag full of personal items (drone, action cam and other vlogging items) that was accidentally left behind in our locked room when we checked out could not be found by staff when we called back a few hours later.

This hotel was convenient and clean. Great parking! The staff was friendly. We walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner and felt safe in the neighborhood.

Our room was clean and comfortable for a one night stay. The bathroom was compact but functional. The rooftop breakfast was lovely and had a nice view of the Adriatic Sea. The hotel met all of our needs after a long day of travelling. It is located near the airport, was easy to find, and provides free onsite parking.

Hotel La Baia was perfect for me to stay one night close to the airport. It was quiet and clean. I could safely walk to good restaurants. The man at the front desk helped me secure a taxi for a very early morning taxi (4:45 am).

The staff were very friendly - but not the most helpful. I'm not sure if this is a North American expectation but when asking the hotel staff for help on transit, how to get to other cities etc,. There was no real help other than what the remember. The wifi for the hotel is annoying as you need to reconnect almost daily by getting a new wifi password for each device from the front desk. We stay 5 nights so this was quite inconvenient having to constantly do this. The location is an easy walk to the beach, and 10 minutes to the train station which was great.

The hotel has seen better days, showers have black mold and stink of rotten eggs. The first shower at 5:45 AM did not have hot water. Nice large balconies however.

Useful stopover

It was very convenient for the airport and there is a useful local train station. It’s a short walk to the sea, pleasant even though it’s not a pretty town. I found the bed O.K but my wife thought it was too hard. Breakfast is continental with a nice selection. The staff are friendly and helpful. The building is a bit tired but it doesn’t matter and there is a great view from the breakfast roof terrace.

It was acceptable on overall. Room is big enough and clean. Breakfast is good enough. The staff is helpful. The first night there was a sound because of the wind which disturbed us.

We booked the hotel bc we needed something for one night stay close to the airport. It is very much basic and old, the room was all old tiles, the bed mattress was springy, flat pillows, no intention to make it any nicer or more comfortable.

There was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom and shower that really turned your stomach, horrid. Everything is old and worn out including the bed and pillows ( so flat I needed 4 to male one normal pillow. Things are relatively clean, the area surrounding the shower doors was not clean. You cannot open the drapes. The whole place smells really bad. The carpet in the corridors is worn right though in some places. The staff were all very good. I would never , ever stay there again. I would have left when I first got there but it was so late at night and it was tough to get a taxi.

You can’t go wrong here, folks. This building is grand. The service is excellent and you’re just a blocks away from the sea and the train station, Couple that with the amazing rooftop breakfast and the fact that if you really wanted to, you could actually walk to the airport, (I have) and you’ve got all the bases covered!

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, Können nur Englisch. Das Restaurant war plötzlich geschlossen ohne Ankündigung. Geräusche vom Aufenthaltsbereich wie reden, lachen usw. dringen ins Zimmer rein. Es fehlt ein geschlossener Kleiderschrank im Raum 19. Im Außenbereich besteht keine Sitzmöglichkeit, die Dachterrasse ist nur offen, wenn das Restaurant auf ist.
