This property was perfect for our short stay in Barcelona! It was located right across from a park and less than a mile walk to the heart of Barcelona that had plenty of shopping and restaurants! There were plenty of options for transportation that made it easy to get around and see all Barcelona has to offer! The hotel staff were very helpful and spoke great English! I don’t have anything negative to say about this stay!

We loved our stay here! The hotel is wonderfully located right in front of the beautiful Parc de la Ciutadella - perfectly walkable into the Gothic District, which was most important to us. The staff was lovely, our room was clean, the hotel is quiet and stylish. The only reason I didn’t give it 5s across the board - we would have loved to use the rooftop, which has a stunning view of the park. We once ran up there to catch the sunrise - couldn’t open the door. Another time, hurried up there to view the sunset - no es posible! We would have loved to use that space, but the hours are 11am to 7pm, exactly when people are out and about - not ideal. And not a big deal, but do note - they do not provide hair conditioner! Overall, a wonderful hotel, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location is good, 15-20 minutes walk from Plaça de Catalunya, close to the Arc de Triomf, alongside Parc de la Ciutadella. The check-in staff member was friendly and honest and funny. All staff I encountered during my one night stay were excellent. I had a room on the fourth floor, looking out on the parks. The only thing I missed was a kettle to make tea! Breakfast next morning was ample and pleasant (it is an extra cost of €14, well worth it). I was also able to fill my flask with hot water for tea later in the morning. Checkout was at noon and I was due to be collected at 2pm, the reception desk staff kindly stored my bags until I was ready to go. I would have booked Motel One again for the Tuesday before Easter but prices were increased for the Easter period. I would gladly stay at Motel One again if the price is right!

Everything was fantastic! It was just me during my stay and while the room was small, I was perfectly fine with it. The only negative was some people were in the hall at 4am and I woke up startled because it sounded like they were actually in my room! They were very loud and walls very thin. Other than that, decor was beautiful, staff friendly, very clean and very close to everything Barcelona has to offer! Would stay again!
