Welcoming and helpful staff and lovely hotel - nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Room was spacious and comfortable - with shampoo, conditioner, hand and body lotion included. Pool was small but still with enough room for thy kids to enjoy and there were enough sun loungers and shade to accommodate plenty of people. Breakfast was delicious and with plenty of choice and staff were very quick to keep levels of drinks and food topped up - there were also plenty of restaurants and food outlets available within a short walk. Very lovely stay and would stay again!

The location was excellent with easy access to Taxis, however, the in room entertainment was poor, there was any a lot of television options in and the room was not equipped with international power sockets The power in our room tripped twice The bath tub did not have a shower curtain and the shower cubicle was tiny

We came from an 8 day Mediterranean cruise and our room was not ready at check-in but we were taken care of and upgraded to a suite which was amazing !! We loved everything about the property, bed was amazing had the best sleep that was much needed, the pillows top notch, pool area very chic and relaxing with delicious sangria, breakfast was amazing along with the different juices, only issue was the hallways were very hot and stuffy. Barcelona was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay wish we made it longer !! Mil gracias

My expectations for Melia were high since we have stayed at Melias a few times before, and because it was very pricey, The front staff were excellent, helpful and very kindvincluding the bell boy was very warm and welcoming, no complains at all about the staff, however the property is horribly maintained, is very outdated, the doors and halls are stainless steel, the doors were just like the doors of a freezer all duty, the furniture extremely old, if you moved the bed the wall was stained, the rooms had white duty curtains all around which I did not understood the concept the halls were so dark and duty, the last set of towels looked like if they were used before, carpet was old

Amazing, so gorgeous. Upgraded to a fancy room with a view for our anniversary and couldn’t fault it. The staff were super friendly and helped us without even needing to ask. Breakfast was so worth it, the chef made us a fresh omelette every morning. The area is perfect, a nice trendy take on Barcelona with more local places.

Excellent hotel - very modern. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Not near historic center, but excellent neighborhood with lots to see and do. Would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, room upgrade. Good transport links, a decent walk to the main sites, but doable. 5-10min walk to beach. Nice restaurants around, out of the hustle of the city and lots of locals live close by, so more reasonable price for food and drink
