Superb hotel, modern and well appointed, in a great location with the metro a 5-minute walk away (and from there 20 minutes into the heart of the city), a huge shopping centre at a similar distance and the beach 15 minutes on foot. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the gym is good, the buffet breakfast superb and the rooftop pool, with spectacular views across the city, the highlight. I will definitely stay here again if/when next in Barcelona.

What an amazing stay we had! We stayed here during primavera sound and the location was amazing for the festival. Hotel was absolutely lovely and the view from the rooftop pool was spectacular.

Great apartment rooms very useful They just could do with some more hanging hooks in the rooms like in the bath room bedroom and kitchen. Would be good to have a plug socket for the kettle on the kitchen work surface or a separate table near a socket for the kettle. Breakfast is great with good variation each day. Car park is very tight and is over 2 floors below ground so very large SUVs might struggle.

Fantastic stay at the Hotel Tembo, the staff in the Pool Bar and Restaurant were very friendly and helpful, such a lovely spot to take in some sunbathing at the end of the day. Our room was cleaned every day but we did not see any cleaners or bedding trolleys, amazing service. Thank you. Only comment is the location is near a poor area and a local advised us to take care and not to walk around that area. the coffee bar across from the Hotel is perfect for a well costed start to the day breakfast. You will always need to get a taxi to see the sites of Barcelona average cost €15 per journey, but there is always a Taxi waiting outside to meet you. Loved the Hotel Tembo, a wonderful stay.

The hotel is a modern and new hotel. Clean. Staff is friendly. Rooms are spacious. However the pool is tiny! The photos are very misleading, the pool is the size of a hot tub. Do not book this hotel if you’re looking for a hotel with a view and pool on their rooftop. The food is not good either. I found that the chicken was not cleaned properly. The drinks are great! Rooms are clean and spacious. The most IMPORTANT thing is the safety/security issue. This hotel is in an up and coming neighborhood aka gentrification!! The neighborhood is very sketchy. You will be in the middle of the hood. We saw 1 block away a drug addict with needle tracks up and down his arm. A lot of people hanging outside the buildings. Rats and large roaches outside as well. At night walking back to the hotel can be very concerning and unsafe. The hotel has no security. If you are females or have young children I would not book here. Men it’s up to you if you feel safe as a group walking through this to get to the hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room is great, very clean and had all the comforts you need. We enjoyed chill out on the roof bar. Really recommend staying if you are looking for a weekend break as it’s close to the Metro. The only thing that bothered us was that the smell in the public spaces. It wasn’t overwhelming, but enough to make the space feel less fresh and a bit musty - damp mop.

We stayed for a family holiday during October half term. The hotel was fantastic. Clean & modern. Good food- especially breakfast and the rooftop restaurant. The rooftop pool was very cold but it was October!!! The rooms are mini apartments with kitchenette which is great with a family and a mini market just round the corner.The metro is an easy walk. Their area is quieter with other large hotels & a shopping centre. Selva Del Mar beach is a 15 walk. There is construction improvements taking place to the beach front but it’s a nice quiet beach with clean facilities & showers. Definitely recommend.

We loved the rooftop pool. What a view, lovely big dkuffy towels available for large sun loungers. We also enjoyed a drink at the rooftop bar to admire the city by night. Staff always on hand and willing to help. Very smiley, smart and professional. Rooms cleaned, tidied and beds made every day. The beds are incredibly comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was great, a good selection of hot and cold items everyday. A late check out was no problem and they were able to store our luggage during our last day. We very much enjoyed our stay.
