We stayed for a family holiday during October half term. The hotel was fantastic. Clean & modern. Good food- especially breakfast and the rooftop restaurant. The rooftop pool was very cold but it was October!!! The rooms are mini apartments with kitchenette which is great with a family and a mini market just round the corner.The metro is an easy walk. Their area is quieter with other large hotels & a shopping centre. Selva Del Mar beach is a 15 walk. There is construction improvements taking place to the beach front but it’s a nice quiet beach with clean facilities & showers. Definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room is great, very clean and had all the comforts you need. We enjoyed chill out on the roof bar. Really recommend staying if you are looking for a weekend break as it’s close to the Metro. The only thing that bothered us was that the smell in the public spaces. It wasn’t overwhelming, but enough to make the space feel less fresh and a bit musty - damp mop.

We loved the rooftop pool. What a view, lovely big dkuffy towels available for large sun loungers. We also enjoyed a drink at the rooftop bar to admire the city by night. Staff always on hand and willing to help. Very smiley, smart and professional. Rooms cleaned, tidied and beds made every day. The beds are incredibly comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was great, a good selection of hot and cold items everyday. A late check out was no problem and they were able to store our luggage during our last day. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The 2-bedroom suite during Primavera Sound was worth every penny! Not only for the location (you can't put a price on a 5 minute walk to a festival where you stay up all night and want naps often!), but also the hotel in general. The staff were amazing from the moment we got out of the cab. The plaza security made me feel better about late night comings-and-goings (this area doesn't feel unsafe, but as a woman alone at night, I appreciate the extra presence). The front desk man made check-in easy and I felt like I had a good idea of not only my room, but also everything in the hotel. Simone helped us take bags up and showed us all the ins-and-outs of our room and were very thankful for his help. All the cleaning staff was so nice and accommodating of our weird schedules and teenager who left clothes all over the place! We did not get a chance to eat at any of the restaurants or use the pool, but we loved the neighborhood and had several good meals out and utilized our kitchen fully. Trust me (as someone used to traveling on a tight budget) that this hotel is worth it, especially if you're in town for Primavera Sound! AirBnBs were few and far between and either more expensive or not great looking, and I am so happy we chose Tembo!
