We did not avail the breakfast, front desk staff's are great, very accommodating and speaks English (which is a plus), the room we are book are excellent -we did not anticipate a patio, that is a plus. Clean rooms, and well maintained property. The only thing is, it is far from the city of Barcelona, subway is not that far anyways, the hotel is in Eixample, very safe place.

Excellent hotel at a good price.

We were very happy with our five night stay at Hotel Derby. The hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable, and had an excellent staff. The staff gave us useful tourist information and they resolved several special requests. I particularly appreciate the 24-hour receptionists who helped us get a taxi to the airport at 3:00 AM.

This hotel is amazing for a short stay in Barcelona. It’s easy to get to anywhere with public transport. The only down side I could say is there are road works outside and in the morning it to noisy.

A ok stay

Old and small hotel. Cleaning and service was on point. But not comfortable at all. The gym is bad, in a cellar, with old machines and located in another building.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were away from the super touristy spots but close enough to them on the metro! Nice, clean rooms with great AC. The pool was across the street in the other property but not that inconvenient. Small pool. There are restaurants close by and all the essentials. Would definitely return.
