Enjoyed our stay here. Close to the beach but far from the city center. It is close to transit so it would be easy enough to get to everywhere. Staff were very helpful and the room was available for early check in which was a blessing following a long overnight flight! Only issue was the water temperature in the shower. It would often switch to very hot water for a couple seconds before going back to your set temperature.

The room floor was not clean, hair dirt. The hallway also dirty. Housekeeping staff walked into our room without even knocking on the door or checking that we were in the room. Very inappropriate and unprofessional. We were never asked if we needed towels and beds changed, room cleaned or the hotels procedures about this and never saw the housekeeping staff at all other than the one who walked into our room. The breakfast was okay, a good variety but with 2 staff and full room of tourists, it was hard for the staff to keep up, hot food was cold. They need to refill the 2 specialty coffee machines, most of the time they just spit out hot foamy water once the product ran out. Everyone would fill a cup, leave it on the shelf, no where to dump the hot water. Within minutes they had run out of cups, a waist of water, cups and time lining up to get nothing. You had to guess with a selection such as a Cafe Mocha and hope you got actual product and coffee in that selection. Also some other upside down dispensers such as honey, syrup or jams were empty or not working. The bathroom door is just a piece of tempered glass that does not lock, just swings open and provides NO PRIVACY. The shower is also just a piece of glass wall over part of a 2 inch raised floor step on tub that was not surrounded by glass or a door. The entire floor got wet, tub was a foot away from the sink, you had to step over it without hitting it with your toes. Tub: MAJOR TRIP & SLIP INJURY HAZARD TO FEET @#*%!?!?

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the beach and only 3 blocks away from Rambla del Poblenou where most of the bars and restaurants are located. The streets around the hotel are quiet. We would stay here again. Nice neighborhood for a big city

Good location. Close to Poblenou ramblas which is far better than the main ramblas beside the gothic quarter. Also very close to the beach. City centre is about 25 minute walk.
