The hotel is beautiful, period. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with our air conditioner not working our first night, and was a little frustrated how long it took to get someone to look at it (request investigation five times), we then moved to the room next door and it was fine. Other than that the rooftop is gorgeous with great views and pool. We loved the artifacts on the first floor and the rooms were especially large (in comparison to Lisbon and Madrid). Appreciated the complimentary beverages. The wait staff at breakfast remembered us each morning and made our contributes to our morning starting great.

I’ve stayed in some wonderful hotels around the world and this one is high up the list of the best. It’s small which makes it more private and personal and we got great service, great room, great breakfast and it’s very well located on the Rambla.

Class act

This is a very good Small luxury Hotel of the World. the staff is without a doubt very accommodating. We were allowed to check in early after an overnight flight. It is right beside the Barcelona market and La Rambla Stay here but try to get the rooms with an outside window, of course the inside are quieter and darker to nap up you jet lag

The service is very nice. Hotel is close to subway. Room is very clean and tidy. Decoration is beautiful. Free Wi-Fi. They provide luggage register service after checkout. Will book again next time and highly recommend.

A fantastic place

A fantastic place! Right in the heart of everything, but completely quiet, restful, and very well-appointed. The counter staff are superb, and the room was wonderful. Everyone treated us like we were royalty, including the bartender in the fantastic rooftop bar -- which, oddly, closed halfway through our visit. It's a shame, as that's a great space, but the rest of the hotel is wonderful too, and highly recommended.

The facilities were amazing and the staff was over the top helpful. The location was wonderful in the heart of La Rambla, just a 1/2 block away from the Boqueria Market and walkable to almost all the main areas. We came off a cruise ship early morn. They stored our bags for us, gave us a cup of coffee and went over a map of the city with us. When we checked in later in the afternoon, bags were already in our room and the amenities were over the top. Highly recommend this hotel.

We got an interior room with a tiny window overlooking the interior stairwell. Not a 5-star hotel by any means. On the day of our departure, the elevators did not work, and we had to carry our bags down. The hotel has no restaurant. If you can get a room for 100 euros, it's a good option, otherwise, there are better alternatives in the area.

Absolutely wonderful!

Service was amazing, staff were friendly and accommodating. There are various types of pillows available, robes, toiletries etc. beds are comfortable. The excellent window/door insulates very well from any outside noise. We did notice noise from the hallway - people talking, etc and some sound coming from other nearby rooms but that seems to be often the case with the older boutique buildings. The waterfall shower was amazing - actually felt like rain as opposed to the “wet air” feeling of a lot of the eco-friendly showers these days. My only wish would have been for the shower head to have been more central in the shower space so it wouldn’t be so close to the wall as it was but this was one small point in an otherwise perfectly lovely stay.
