Everything was great, clean, convenient, friendly staff. This place was close enough to walk into town, but also offers free bus rides to and from the hotel. Amazing views and really good breakfast restaurant on the hill.

Beautiful views in the right room. The breakfast restaurant is the best view in town and a little local secret. The Wonderview is more of a motor lodge style vs the sister hotel next door but our room was clean and quiet and we didn’t mind.

Clean room spacious had all we needed for family of 4 adults, we chose room w/2 king beds with a view of water from up top. Very pretty. Quiet and peaceful. Altho decor is outdated it is very quaint and has a lot to offer guests. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent offering a beautiful view. The piano player offered in the lounge of hotel nightly was amazing. Would highly recommend!

Great breakfasts at the Looking Glass Restaurant with a spectacular view over Bar Harbor and Frenchman Bay. Clean room, but older furnishings. It had a big flatscreen tv but it wasn’t a smart TV. Our room did not have a view. You need to stay in a room on the same level as the LG Restaurant in order to enjoy a great view. It isabout a 23 minute walk to downtown Bar Harbor or 5-7 minute drive.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The shuttle bus service that runs all day into Bar Harbor is so convenient. No worries about parking. No long wait for shuttles. Bathroom had no exhaust fan and it did get quite hot after showering. I couldn’t even blow dry my hair in the bathroom it was so warm.

Room was clean, shower on point, bed comfy! Balcony view was awesome! Pool and hot tub were nice, breakfast in the Looking Glass restaurant was awesome and a great view! Bar Harbor is a charming coastal town, loved it. And a bonus is the Acadia national Park right next-door. Sand Beach was like living in a postcard.

It was just ok, definitely not great. The pictures online were definitely nicer than the room we got, but we also went in not expecting top notch either. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The transportation into Bar Harbor from the hotel via the free buses was wonderful.

The room is clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, we had a balcony which was nice, our bathroom water temperature and pressure were poor. It took a little while for the hot water to come through. The water pressure was low but doable. Other than that it was comfortable with a large dog.

The beds were comfortable and the 3 large window opened to a gorgeous view, and a small balcony. However the windows (I think just in our room) did not have drapes (although there was hardware in place) instead it had cheap plastic mini blinds which did not keep out any light. The shower had no water pressure and the tiny mini fridge froze our things. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub/sauna at the adjacent Bluenose Inn as well as the nightly pianist. We ate breakfast daily at the Looking Glass while enjoying the incredible view...have I mentioned the view, it was amazing.

Location was just outside downtown but still walkable to it. Quiet, friendly staff, looking glass restaurant overlooks scenery and water views. Room in Livingston house was basic but nice hot shower with pressure. Good courtyard and grounds if you have pets in one of the permitted rooms. I recommend this place. Blue Nose Inn next door where you check in has nice gift shop and fitness room with indoor and outdoor pool all part of amenities.

Upon arriving, I was told they didn't have a room for my pet. Booked through expedia. No place to add pet. However a call to management cleared that up. I had a hard time locating the room. Rooms are spread out all over. The room was tiny. Smallest bathroom Ive ever had. Location is good. I will never book through expedia again.

Great view. No need to drive and battle parking downtown. FREE bus stop right on property. Indoor and outdoor pool + hot tub. Staff very friendly. The outside of the building we stayed at looked worn, but the inside was very clean. The maid staff does a great job. Big rooms and more importantly the beds were huge and very comfortable. Close to everything bar harbor. Had a great time. Quiet, peaceful, and overall threat experience

What a lovely older property. Our rooms had the ocean view and we traveled with our dog. Very comfortable room. Be mindful that the fridge is only a cube fridge. We had to get creative with stuff we had in our cooler when we bought some cheesecake. This is our second year visiting Bar Harbor and our first at the resort. I would certainly recommend it.
