Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well.

It was a one-night stay. Very close to Main Street, Bar Harbor, with it's shops and restaurants; easy parking; very comfortable room; helpful staff; great breakfast. We would stay here again.

The Inn was very very wonderful! The staff and Innkeeper Chris was available if you had sny questions. They mingled with all tge guests and made you feel right at home. We will recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone that plans to go to Bar Harbor Maine. Walking distance to everything! Will deginetly go back

This was our first stay at a b&b, Chris & the staff at sand bar cottage made it perfect from start to finish. Location is perfect and walkable to anything in town. Fresh breakfast every morning & outdoor live music & cocktails before dinner was great. Room was very clean. Will definitely be returning!

Great location, bed was super comfortable and room was incredibly spacious . The unattached bathroom in the hallway was clean, private to us and quiet so it didn’t even matter that it wasn’t inside our room. We loved the breakfast and all staff was super friendly and helpful. 5 stars!!

We enjoyed our time here because of the gardens and front porch, the evening of live music in the garden every night. It was very close walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor… 5 min walk. Room 1 was clean and spacious enough for 2 people. The only negative would be that possibly a staff member’s living quarters were above us and heard them walking every morning at 5:30

This is an excellent B&B! Chris, the host, makes everyone feel at home and relaxed, it truly is like a home away from home. It is located really close to all of the downtown restaurants, shops and waterfront and it was so nice not having to worry about finding a parking spot in a busy Bar Harbor. The Sandbar is a place where you just want to stay, maybe stay forever, if it were only possible!
