This was exactly what our family of 6 needed for a one night stay on the way to Acadia. Free breakfast and a clean room with enough beds for all. We did not end up using the playground but nice to know it was there if we had more time. Lots of close restaurants too and an easy ride to Acadeia in the morning.

Really nice remodeled inside, the outside of the building doesn’t look so nice, but great inside. Friendly staff who have maps and recs for local things that we appreciated. Lemonade was a good touch in the lobby. The breakfast was really good, wasn’t expecting it to be better than many chain hotels we have stayed at. The Mexican restaurant next door was the best food we ate on our vacation. Also conveniently next to Hannaford Grocery store. This property was a good location to Acadia and cheaper than staying in Bar Harbor. Close drive to Tidal Falls Preserve too for great tide pooling. We would stay againb

The room was clean and spacious. Having a kitchen was great so we could prepare a lunch for our day of sightseeing, eat dinner in our room, and keep our food cold overnight. The breakfast was delicious each morning with a nice assortment of food, including gluten free muffins and bagels! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative is there is not an elevator... not great for us seniors with heavy luggage!

This property was gross to be honest, run down and stunk like mold/mildew. The room itself was very nice though. It was clean and recently updated such a stark contrast from everything else on site. There is no elevator or swimming pool. Plenty of food options and a grocery store right next store though. We did not try the continental breakfast though because I wouldn’t eat anything that was stored or prepared there. If they are currently fixing it up then maybe someday it will be a nice place to stay. Again, the room itself was great, everything past the door to our room was 1 star max.
