I really liked the location of the Kimball. It was right at the harbor and a short drive to Bar Harbor. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very large and clean. I'd stay here again when visiting Acadia.

For a motel setting, it was perfect because we had easy access to Acadia, a restaurant on property, a view of the harbor (almost every room has one), coffee in room, heated pool, and say to park by room to load car for daily excursions of hiking or biking carriage roads. There’s even a marina and a bus stop (free island loop bus) just a few steps away. I will stay again.

Great location, close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. It was quiet which is what we were looking for, but has everything you need. Pool, restaurant, harbor views and a short walk into a quaint town with stores and a coffee shop. A relaxing spot. Would stay there again if we traveled to the area.

The property is beautiful and immaculate. Clean as a whistle in every-way. These folks care and it shows. My only criticism was the shower had no pressure. I don’t know if it was just my room / the shower-head calcified.

We love it here. The staff, rooms, pool are all great accents to the stay. I can’t say anything bad about the facility. The only thing that we miss is being able to cook inside or outside. I am just not a fan of eating out all of the time. I would highly recommend! Next year will be our third year.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. All the front desk personnel were very helpful. There was coffee available 24 hours a day. The room was clean, large and comfortable. Best of all, it was a very short drive to Acadia which was great for an early sunrise viewing.

We arrived and found the original room to be small and not big enough for the two of us, after a brief chat with Rhonda at the front desk she upgraded us with a great attitude and understanding. The room(s) were clean, the staff very helpful and the WiFi worked well. It was too chilly to hit the pool - but every morning the pool guy was out there keeping it clean. It was a great stay and our 3rd or 4th time there.
