The Holbrook house is an exceptional B&B! The building is like something out of a Hallmark movie and the owners are wonderful. The breakfast was outstanding also. We are already talking about going back and staying there next year.

Absolutely loved this Bed & Breakfast! Eric was a great host and incredibly friendly. The rooms were lovely and very clean. The breakfast was great and the property was gorgeous and well maintained. Rocking chairs on the porch were the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend anyone staying here!!

Marvelous B&B

Fantastic stay at Holbrook House. We stayed in Compass Rose. It is a large room with a modern bathroom and recent renovations. The small balcony is nice. The breakfast was delicious. There is coffee and tea all day long. About 5 min walk to town and restaurants.

We were in town for a wedding so we didn’t spend a great deal of time on the property, but it was so pleasant. We wish we could have spent more time on the spacious relaxing porch! The people were welcoming and just lovely! They had food or snacks available and the breakfast was delightful! The town was close enough for us to walk everywhere. The room was comfortable and you couldn’t hear any of the other guests while in your room. It was just a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it for a great vacation spot!

We felt like we were being punished. No shower curtain in the bathroom, water was all over the floor, wall, etc. The room has a 6” slant from one side to the other. When you sleep in the bed, you feel like you are going to roll out. They could have disclosed this up front and gave us the opportunity to make our own decision. I have pictures of both.

This is a wonderful place from which to explore Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor! The B&B is clean and comfortable, and it has a lovely porch and backyard if you want to spend a little time relaxing outdoors. The hosts are warm and welcoming and have great suggestions for dining throughout Bar Harbor (our two best meals were Eric’s recommendations). My partner and I wanted to spend long days hiking in the park, and we greatly appreciated the takeaway breakfast options—they were delicious and incredibly convenient for us. Based on the quality of the takeaway breakfast and the lovely treats they set out in the afternoon, I have no doubt that the full breakfast is amazing! The inn is just a short walk from the main Bar Harbor area, which means you get a little reprieve from the noise while still having access to all the restaurants and shops. We couldn’t have asked for more, and we’d absolutely stay here again if we return!

We stayed here for 6 nights and thought the property was fantastic. The location is perfect, easily walking distance to the main square, the coast, grocery stores, etc. Parking is right in front of the property so that's not an issue. A fairly gourmet breakfast (and VERY tasty) is served daily along with fresh jucies and coffee. There is always an option for an alternative breakfast if you dont like or dont have time for the main entree. On thing to note, and it's totally preference, but there are no TVs here. There is very good wifi so you can watch from your device. Also, the rooms are somewhat small, but not in a bad way, but remember that you are staying in a 1860s era cottage. That said, it's very clean, great water pressure and QUIET. I love kids, but it's very nice that this property doesn't allow children. I'd highly recommend this property to those looking for something in this area.

Amazing older house converted into a bed and breakfast. Breakfasts were wonderful! Room was small and did miss having a TV during Hurricane Milton.
