Beds were rock hard so terrible nights sleep and breakfast was basic without any toast muffins or fruit. location for bar harbor was good although on a one way. Elks lodge up the road was a plus.

A comfortable room with a comfortable bed. Staff is very friendly and helpful for finding your way around the area. Simple grab and go breakfast. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available all day and night. Best of all, it's very affordable.

This hotel was so cute an nostalgic! The staff was great and the location was easy to get around to acadia / bar harbor. Although was a little farther than I thought. About a 30-40 min drive.

This was a clean comfortable and affordable place to stay while on a travel budget. Nothing fancy. 30 minutes to Mount Desert island, Acadia, and Bar Harbor. Breakfast cereal and coffee included. No Gluten Free options so BYO if that’s an issue. Love that it is privately family-owned and not a chain.

Really nice people form the staff. Good Position not too far from Acadia national park. Breakfast really poor, only few cereals and coffee or tea (juice machine out of order). Carpet in the room and all the stuff need a renovation.

This was just what we expected and more -- a budget-friendly option that was welcoming and clean. There was always someone at the front desk and every one of them was welcoming, friendly, helpful, and kind. (They even put up with my seemingly endless questions about recycling procedures in Maine.) They recommended Birdsacre across the street as a destination and several places to eat. The breakfast was limited to basically cereal and hot drinks, but there was ALWAYS coffee available. Definitely would stay there again.

Great, helpful and friendly staff!!! Great price and location. Only issues were very minor, and any issues that were addressable were immediately remedied. We were also aware before arriving that the pool is no longer available, although it is not physically removed as of yet. Note that it is a slightly older hotel, so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room, since there is no elevator to the second floor. There is a small cafe room serving (in the morning) free coffee (several varieties including decaf), hot water for tea or cocoa, half & half and French vanilla cream flavoring, as well as a variety of individual cereals, as well as granola bars, and applesauce. The cafe room also comes stocked with puzzles and board games. Thanks once again to the staff! Your hospitality was much appreciated!
