Great stay

Mr Kim was so nice as was all the staff at the hotel. He arranged a driver to take us to Bac Ha market and the surrounding area for a full day trip.

A small, family-run hotel, very clean. Everyone at the hotel was very service-oriented. You can have your laundry done at the hotel, which was a great help.

Good location, walking distance to Sapa town centre. The room was clean and comfortable. Friendly, warm and super helpful staff, especially Ms Linh and Mr Kim who helped to book trains, cable cars and funicular to visit Fanispan peak and offer suggestions for a very pleasant stay in Sapa.

The view from balcony of town and mountains was great. Breakfast was nice and service very friendly and good. Shower was a bit tricky, tended to flood bathroom as drainage insufficient, we had issue with aircon and eventually moved rooms with working aircon and by good fortune a better shower unit. The mini fridge struggles to cool drinks also.

The man at reception was so kind and welcoming. He offered to help arrange anything we needed and bought tickets to Fansipan for us. The room was impeccably clean and the location was excellent-very close to the downtown and the market. Very good choice for a hotel in Sapa.

The location is great, very quiet within walking distance to everything, Sapa has ski village vibes. The owner is often working at the front desk and is genuinely an incredible human. We arrived 630 AM on the train and he permitted us to check-in to our rooms early, as well as check out at 5 PM with no extra costs! He even upgraded us to a superior room because it was available! He helped us book a one-day trek with a local and it was so fun and informative! We are active 50 year olds and found one day to be plenty for us if you plan to trek, it was so beautiful and VERY muddy in January. Mr Kim is a gem! I can't say enough good things about Mountain Queen House and highly recommend. I would also email Mr Kim to assist with any tour bookings and transpiration needs - excellent prices with quality services. You will not regret staying here.

Mr Kim went above and beyond for us during our stay. I cannot say enough for how thoughtful and personable he was to make it more comfortable for us when we arrived after being sick in Hanoi. Such great value for money as well with a wonderful breakfast and close to the lake.
