Great value hotel for the night in Bangor. Repeat guest staying here. Clean, comfortable rooms, free parking and breakfast. Has a decent pool and friendly staff... some small maintenance issues to attend (one of our lights/power outlets was out, toilet base was a bit loose).. overall good value and would stay again.

We came to Bangor for an urgent medical appointment ( we live 3 hours away). They were able to take us in early so our dog did not have to be in a hot car while we were at NLH. The Cable was screwy, could only get one clear channel. When called the front desk you may or may not get an answer; and when we did they had no idea what the issue was with the cable and no remedy other than change our room (which we declined after 5 hours). Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The vanity sink drained very, very slow. The breakfast was adequate for our needs. Would not recommend the Mexican restaurant next door - the food was very bland in flavor.

The hotel had been recently renovated. Nice clean rooms. If the pool is important to you, check and see if it is running before booking. My one complaint is the pool seems to be down more than it ever is running in previous stays. This recent stay it wasn't.
