This is a stunning hotel. Large rooms, park like grounds, a beautiful (albeit small) outdoor pool and a beautifully furnished breakfast restaurant really do set this hotel right up there with the best. The rooms are well furnished with quality furnishings, and are fastidiously presented.

Living in a hotel, not just staying for sleep

My favorite hotel stay in Bangkok. Stay here many times these years. Spacious room, quality breakfast n dinning environment, open area swimming pool and sun tan district on grassfield. The facilities ensure that we are not just staying in a hotel, but living in an exclusive resort in the city.

We had an excellent stay. As others have said, the hotel is a welcome retreat from the city, situated in a green oasis. Staff were helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was one of the best we had during our 3 weeks in the Far East. Thanks so much!

Room was full Of bugs. Rain shower never worked. Room smelt muggy. Not great as they say u pay for what u get and it was cheap

The U Sathorn is generally above and beyond other more exotic hotels Firstly, The staff are 100% amazing. They work hard, often in heat extremities, whilst nothing is too much trouble for the guest(s). The enthusiasm is unique. "P" and Ploy / pla / Guy, Wong and all others are amazing and the reason we return. The hotel itself, is perfect, (although I notice changes are inevitable). The pool is one of the best in Bangkok. The open plan foyer and quite minimal of rooms available at this little green oasis, ensures that your space is very private and perfect. The breakfast is adequate, although I feel cost cutting has affected the quality of food available from previous visits. The value received of service, to cost, outweighs the necessity of more expensive choice of hotel. The management has recently changed, and I hope that the exceptional and outstanding welcome and service received is appreciated and supported by the management. The amenities are also excellent, whether it is the comfy super-king beds, gym / quality soaps, etc. The surrounding palms and gardens are such a relief in what is a vibrant and noisy city, that a ambience of clam and serenity apply, so much so, that this three week stay kept us both fixed in spending most of our time soaking up a wonderful and unique experience, within the grounds. U SATHORN offers ALL that ANY holiday expectation is generally being sought. Well done and thank you, until our next visit.

3-Star Resort, all about the details

The grounds are very pretty and as shown in the photos. However, at check-in already ask what time I will check out. I think the staff not polished. Rooms were small and strange with curtain separating bathroom area from room and not proper door to toilet. Beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. The pillows so thin and offer no support. The room was not as clean - the ceiling panel had black dirty handprints. The TV was old and needs upgrade to smart TV so can watch Netflix, etc. The request for water was told by staff we only get 4 waters so I said fine I will pay for 2 waters. This is a 5-star hotel, why not get more than 2 waters. A little strange. The wedding was loud and music until 1am. The breakfast was good but I think staff need to be more friendly and sincere. They take away plate without asking. The Library coffee shop only opens at 11am so cannot get coffee. Need to understand customer service expected by overseas guests. Not be so stingy with water, be more sincere/friendly, go out of the way to help customer and don't cheap on beds, pillows, waters, etc. It's not a 5-star level like other hotels in Thailand.

Nice place to stay with very comfortable beds, functional rooms with a stocked bar fridge, good air conditioning system, and excellent choice for breakfasts. Staff were great and extremely helpful and accommodating in everything that we asked of them. Great location as 5 minutes from a train station and major shopping centre yet quiet enough that you can forget that you are in the centre of a very busy and bustling capital city. Only complaint was that we asked for a quiet room and yet we were located on a middle floor with a young family above us who had kids that were constantly running around and jumping up and down on the bed causing us to be kept awake. I would certainly this visit this place again but next time I would insist on a 3rd floor room.

Excellent location—safe, quiet, and walkable with great dining options nearby. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were kind, helpful, and always smiling, which made us feel really welcome. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good variety. One of the best things was the 24-hour stay policy, which worked perfectly for our late-night flight. A great place to relax and enjoy Bangkok. Highly recommend.

Wonderful ambiance the second you step foot in the lobby! Beautiful pool and one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Staff was incredibly helpful and even arranged an early morning taxi and take away breakfast for our flight. Very centrally located with complementary service to train station provided free of charge
