Fantastic staff who are friendly and helpful. They also have a tuk tuk that they can bring you to the main road or 7-11 at the main road. Spacious room, artistically decorated compound. Sumptuous breakfast.

This is THE place to stay in Bangkok

This is a fantastic place to stay. Itravel frequently but rarely leave reviews, but I can't pass up the opportunity to recommend this hotel. It is in a fantastic location that is close to all the major sites of Bangkok but off the beaten track. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the staff is extremely helpful. The restaurant is right on the river and a great place to start and end your busy days seeing Bangkok. The owners are clearly very thoughtful about giving back to the local community, which also feels great as a guest. This is THE place to stay in Bangkok.

Theatre residence is next to the river and Pranock pier so easy to get around using the boats. On the first day we spent a lot of time just using the hop on and hop off. If we were more in the centre we would have been less likely to use them. Also Wang Lang market is so near and the food is so good. Lovely hotel with a lovely breakfast. Staff were also so friendly.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Property is walking distance tobtje Wang Lang Market for unlimited food and shopping. It's a local people's market so the prices are reasonable. The property is next to a school which is very loud during the weekdays. Try to ask for a room on another side. Otherwise we had a great stay. Breakfast at the riverside was very beautiful in the morning.

Gutes Hotel, wir waren das dritte Mal hier und finden aber leider das es sich für unseren Geschmack zum negativen verändert hat. Der Service hat ein bisschen nachgelassen und das Frühstück ist uns zu sehr auf europäisch ausgelegt. Wir vermissen hier einfach die Vielfalt und das asiatische Küche.

Terrific hotel residence with interesting history.

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood along the river with a temple next door. Walking distance to Wat Arun. Conveniently located between 2 piers for quick transport to main sites. Breakfast was delicious! The restaurant faces the river and the food is yummy. The room was a good size. The pool is nice but there were problems with the little moat surrounding the pool which involved 2 days of a crew cleaning it. I'm sure this was a temporary issue. The Wang Lang market is around the corner which is filled with food/clothing vendors.

Too many small issues.

The reception has no aircon, in warm days it can be unbearable for foreigners. The hotel does not have any iron, after many hours flying, the clothes need to be ironed. We were asked to bring the clothes to a laundry at the reception. We had a used coffee glass in the room for days that we left in the sink but no one picked it up. The cleaning was poor, during the whole stay we had toothpaste spots in the sink that were not removed or cleaned. The soap run out after the third day, we had to use hand soap for showering. The staff is not good at English, luckily my wife is Thai.

A lovely, stylish hotel away from the main city area of Bangkok. Easy access to the main tourist attractions either by boat or a fairly quick grab taxi/bike. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
