Everything about this property was absolutely immaculate! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They have a shuttle to BTS, which is super amazing. And the area is wonderful! As soon as you walk in the room, you are hit with this absolutely amazing scent where you feel you have entered paradise! I think it’s a little selfish they wouldn’t sell it to me and they want to keep it for themselves, but I guess I’m just going to have to come back and relive this paradise haha. I would rate this property 1000/10! I can’t recommend this property enough. You will love your stay if you come here!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The check in is smooth. Hotel facility is okay if you wanna find a place for rest. No gym and the pool is small (full of people taking pictures) so if you are here for swimming, probably not a good option. Overall 5 star for the hotel staff!

Really nice property. Stayed here 3 nights, did 1 night in the 4 floor villa and 1 night in the pool access. The villa is extremely nice, pool access is like a standard hotel room with a patio to the pool. Staff is always extremely helpful and kind! Only downside I had was that there’s not hot shower water. Other than that everything was perfect.

The hotel itself is beautiful and smart. The rooms are smartly designed and clean, however the soundproofing between walls and floors is pathetic and you can hear and feel those around you. Additionally the pool opens at 8am and because of its proximity to your room the noise from those using the pool is very loud. The restaurant offers a floating breakfast…great idea unless you’re the one who wants to skip breakfast and sleep. The staff are fantastic. I suggest pool opening hours 10am till 11pm and wearing ear plugs which ironically they supply.

The property itself was nice and chill. Staff was amazing. But for the location. Too far with traffic. Surrounding area or neighborhood is ghetto. Breakfast for a fee. Presentations were beautiful but we were not impressed with the taste. The tiktok or video made it seem a lot nicer and luxurious then it seemed. The price, due to location and lack of amenities, it was overpriced. But the building and rooms are clean and staff were amazing and nice

A great find

Great find for a short stay in Bangkok and not far from the Airport ( around 30 mins at 0830 in the morning. A hotel shuttle to the nearest BTS ( On Nut) is useful but be aware that taxi drivers aren't that keen on doing the return journey. We had 3 refuse us before I used the Grab app and got someone within 5 mins for 85Thb. If any taxi refuses you it's possible to report them, get a photo of their license and car and do it. It's a problem apparently that needs addressing. Back to the Shan. Nice easy check-in, our room wasn't ready however we knew this before we arrived as it was early. We spend the day in Bangkok central - approx an hour to Iconic Siam in a taxi or less on the train for example - so it was v easy to do and I'd recommend it. We didn't eat or have breakfast so I can't comment on the food. The pool looked very inviting. We had an interconnecting room which worked really well. I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone staying over for 1 night or short stay in Bangkok.

The rooftop domes sold us and funny part was we never dined there during our stay because of how hot it is in Bangkok! We booked a Deluxe Double room for 5 days and checked in on Tuesday afternoon. The lobby is small, clean and aesthetically pleasing. As you walk towards the elevator you’ll pass the swimming pool and we were provided with 2 key cards to access our room. The front desk lady asked us to sign a form with $1000 baht cash as a deposit if there’s any damage and will return after your stay. The packaging of the bathroom items is really cute too! They have Netflix on their tv which was nice to watch and there’s a 711 nearby that’s less than a 10 minute walk. We also discovered an amazing local restaurant called Kimlang Chicken Rice for $60 baht that we dined in/takeout for brunch everyday that’s less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel! Our room was #207 with the balcony view facing towards the pool. It could get really loud from kids/families swimming in the morning if you’re planning on sleeping in. For one of the nights, our neighbours were really loud and we could hear her puking and flushing the toilet non stop and how loud they were talking through the walls which wasn’t too pleasant to hear. We booked a shuttle to the airport for 5:30pm which costed $1300 for our party of 8 friends. Overall, we had a great stay in the 4 nights that we stayed at Bangkok!

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. We booked the connecting rooms, since there were 4 of us. The rooms are very spacious with a small balcony to look out. I enjoying the tropical surroundings. Waking up to the different birds singing, was very relaxing. If you needed assistance, staff was very willing to help, reaching out consistently. The front desk, housekeeping, and shuttle driver were all very pleasant and polite. We used the shuttle to get to the BTS link, exploring all around Bangkok. It was our first time internationally and in Thailand, I really enjoyed the culture and exploring daily. Loved trying the different fruit/ food, riding the ferry and using the BTS links to get around like the locals. Overall experience was great, can’t wait to be able to go again!
