Disliked: Amenities
The location is excellent! Good food and extremely accessible. We were given a ground floor room right next to the entrance and carpark/driveway. We were shocked and knew that we would not be able to rest. Requested for a change of room and the front desk upgraded us to a jr. suite at no extra charge. It is more of a hostel than a hotel, chose this as our child is interning here in BKK and staying here. For vacations this is more suited for couples staying for less than 5 days, or for those who are seeking a budget-friendly place with bare minimum ammenities.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
This property was comfortable and clean. The room layout was rather odd, with very little space around the pair of large single beds, and no really good table on which to do some laptop work. The safe was not bolted to anything and occupied some of the table space. Having said that, I did not find all of these things too inconvenient for a short stay. The price is about right for what I got, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
A slight negative is the limited transport. The hotel is roughly midway between Sam Yan MRT and Hua Lamphong stations, so if carrying heavy luggage, a taxi would be helpful or even necessary.
Very close by is a good steak restaurant called Rot Dee Ded, in Rama IV Road. There are several other eating places southeast of the hotel, also in Rama IV Road.
