Did not like anything!!! Poorly lit street, dark empty abandoned buildings across street, hotel is old and dated, dark hallways lights work off of motion sensors, you cannot take your room key with you, you must leave your key at front desk when you go out, old broken furniture, small rooms dingy and musty, no curtains just a louvre door, street noise, guest charge, poor tv channels, absolutely horrible!!! A rip off!!!

Unpleasant stay
Right from the moment we stepped in, we were met with unfriendly staff. We had unpleasant experiences with a number of them. Will stay somewhere else in Bangkok next time.
You can’t go wrong with the price. It’s an amazing location close to everything you need! Cafes, restaurants, bars and the train. The place is spotless and the staff are amazing! Rooms are not that modern but again for the price it’s a great find.
Stayed here for Songkran 2018 with kids aged 6,9,10. Location was excellent, just off Silom road, 10 minutes from train station, and 5 min from where they close down the road for the water fights. Felt very safe with the kids. Bar and 7/11 across the road. Service was amazing, we forgot a bag in the taxi, and the front desk man worked hard to help us track him down and get it back.
Worst experience in Thailand. I checked in at midnight (12am) for a short stay as I needed sleep only. I paid $50usd for a night. I went to sleep and had the worst sleep ever because the a/c didn’t activate(broken only fan was working. I didn’t realize but didn’t sleep at all that night. Upon check-out I spoke to the manager and explained the situation to her and she told me it is my fault I didn’t call them. But I had already opened my suitcase and was half asleep and didn’t realize what was happening. Also in the morning I went to the balcony And it was not as hot outside on a 32°c day plus humidity was 44°c(refer to my picture). She told me I don’t deserve any discount or anything. Stay away from this type of unheard service in Thailand. Not to mention hairs on the bathroom floor and warn out towels.
Lullaby Inn is a good value right off of Silom Road. The room size is adequate. Our second floor room faced onto the street. The windows onto the balcony were single pane glazed glass, offering little protection from the traffic noise, so the room was quite noisy during the day and into the night. Earplugs are necessary. Fresh bottled water was provided daily. The refrigerator worked well, allowing us to buy and store breakfast foods in the room (the hotel does not provide breakfast). Hot shower water was always available. The staff was always very helpful. We could catch taxis easily right out front of the hotel. ATM's and 7-11's were nearby on Silom road. Many restaurants were nearby. Definitely take advantage of the Silom Thai Cooking School, 1/2 block away on Silom Road (best authentic food we had while in Bangkok - http://www.bangkokthaicooking.com). Best sure to visit the Grand Palace, the Golden Buddha Temple, the Reclining Buddha Temple and the Ayutthaya Historical Site (http://thailandforvisitors.com/central/ayuthaya/sri-ayutthaya/how-to-day-trip.php). Allow yourself 1 hour to travel from Lullaby to DMK airport upon departure.
Other reviewers had pointed out that the Lullaby was in a very noisy location. That's certainly true of the rooms with a balcony, but that is to be expected in a busy part of the city, and the aircon noise does not help either. On the plus side, the staff are extremely helpful, the room we were in was very clean and of good standard, with free safe and free water, and there are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance.
Quiet area and room was in great condition! Friendly staff, 2 free water bottles a day!, close to train station, many restaurants, bars, stores everywhere! Would definitely stay here again!
Disappointing facilities and staff, will not return
This hotel said by the manager herself, is a 2 star inn so don't expect much. Room was a bit tired and need renovation. Hot water in shower didn't work at night so we have to move to another room at midnight. The quality of staff was doubtful - language barrier with the nightwatch (could not speak English at all); argued about the refund with the manager and I was been accused as a 'sick person'. Of course the manager appologised. But this is good enough the see their staff quality.
After all we've been through, I wanted to cancel the following two days booking with refund. 'Cannot do. We have policy.' Even when the expedia staff has emailed them to think of the customers and reconsider about their policy, 'Cannot do. We have policy. Only one night refund.' Money face should not be the trend.
Will I return to a place where the manager brought me to tears? No.
This was a great place to stay, in a great location (easy to get anywhere in the city from here), and attended by truly wonderful staff. Thank you for everything!
A very pleasant place to stay. Clean, well appointed, comfortable and quiet. No extras, so if you want a pool or a restaurant in the hotel, not the place for you.
Hotel was lovely. There is a sky train station just round the corner and the ferry is 10/15 minute walk away. Its location was just off Silom road so there was a bit of noice from this but only if you left the balcony doors open. The room was spacious and clean with great air-con. The staff had good English and were really helpful firstly changing the batteries in my in-room safe then booking tickets to Muay Thai Live.
Only downside is the shower kept bouncing between nicely hot and Luke warm which wasn't too bad as there was lots of pressure.
This hotel is a lovely place - basic in some ways but serviceable. The outstanding part was the reception staff particularly Lek. What a lovely helpful lady. Nothing too much trouble for her. She even showed concern we may have been ripped off when buying some jewelry - so she asked her sister, a jeweller to make sure our purchases were OK - they were!! Nothing was too much trouble and she took the time to help us with speaking Thai. Very impressed. Because of her we will definitely go back here

Hotel close to shopping in silom
A nice 3.5 star hotel close to a nice massage place next door, orchid massage, close to shopping, lots of custom tailors around the area and a good local market.
The 4 people room was large but bit musty and bathroom was ok. No toiletry's provided, so please bring your own.
Also spent a day in a room with balcony the room was large and spacious but the shower needs some work.

A strategic location
overall, I find the location of the inn is quite strategic, easily to get to the nearest skytrain and the surrounding is quiet. However, the downside are there is no window in the room and not much toiletries are provided.
