The Nikko Hotel in Bangkok sets the gold standard

The service is truly in a class of its own—exceptional in every way. You can immediately tell that the entire facility is extremely well managed. The staff is impeccably trained and executes their duties with flawless precision. The hotel is spotless, and everything functions like Swiss clockwork. On top of that, the location is fantastic! I simply can't praise or recommend the Nikko Hotel in Bangkok highly enough.

Excellent hotel, spacious modern clean rooms, great service, pleasing city views, convenient location, very quiet, good value. Couple of improvements would not hurt though: Pool chairs could use a revamp and an ability to call for service would raise the pool experience. Breakfast buffet was disappointing for Thailand. Plenty of food but not tasty. The lobby cafe had better although limited offerings.

Staff was professional and spoke good English. They also have Japanese-speaking staff on hand. They allowed me to check in earlier in the morning when for most Japanese hotels it's usually at 3pm. Staff also rendered prompt assistance when my keycard wasn't working and when helping me to call for taxi. I appreciate the Japanese-style hospitality and attention to detail. Hotel is popular with Japanese families and other Asian expats. Only downside is the location is slightly away from the city center and main attractions.
