Great place to stay here in Sukhumvit 85 my very first visit to Bangkok has started off Great THANKS a MILLION to the Wonderful STAFF here at the Hotel I highly recommend it and will definitely be staying here again later if I'm ever in the area

Fabulous hotel. Stayed here for almost 2 weeks in total. Staff are friendly and nice, rooms are spacious and comfortable, good facilities (gym, sauna, pool), good wifi, great breakfast for the price. It's about 5-8 minutes to the BTS, and there are malls and supermarkets located all around the station. Not a luxury hotel and the building is a bit old, but it doesn't take away from the value. I would stay again in an instant. Thank you!

Room was very clean and the hospitality was off the charts. Had a very pleasant experience with all the friendly staff there (they even gave us small welcome gifts like a Thai-styled handkerchief). It is also located in a quieter part of the city which I loved, not a lot of noise. Will recommend staying here and will definitely be my choice of stay next time as well.

Just had an excellent upgraded stay Front office staff brilliant helpful and professional JO and Ying excellent and other aswell JO went extra mile ordered for me a taxi to airport from his mobile as was no public taxis around much appreciated Good customer service and they care about their hotel guests As they are serving breakfast till 12 noon to satisfy their guests with jet lag and the ones sleep late That unique service only at Amber hotel most hotels breakfast served till 10am Good management experienced and professional Thank you for the upgrade Was enjoyable stay in your hotel Looking forward to come back again Best regards

Incredibly friendly staff, very accommodating. Room and general hotel are spotless. Small but nice rooftop views with amazing view of the city. Only a 5min walk from a BTS station that brings you right in towards city centre.

I enjoyed my stay here. It wasn’t far from the train station which allows you to travel throughout Bangkok. The staff were excellent and attentive. The price was great for the room option I chose. I would book this hotel again. There is a restaurant that I didn’t make the effort to try. With the many options around the area, I was okay with that.

Location is perfect ,which close to on nut skytrain. have a food court , massage ( open until 12:00 ) and street food closed by. just 1 bad thing is the shower room is too small , which hard to close door. i recommend people to choose this hotel.

Nice hotel away from busy area BTS station ON NUTjust few minutes walk NBK and SIAM just few stops and 2 big shopping centres lotus and century few minutes walk from the hotel Amber hotel modern style quiet and very generous breakfast from 6am to 12pm you will find all varieties of food Asian European Chinese Thai Also they got room service limited hours and food is delicious and a lot of varieties Hotel staff all of them polite caring helpful and professional front desk and restaurant and housekeeping Very impressed with quality and 5 star service Got small terrace swimming pool and gym Will come back again and recommend to friends and people I know Well done Amber ‘s management

The staff were really polite and went out of their way to be helpful. Room was clean, and the beds were amongst the most comfortable I’ve been in in a hotel in a long time. Lots of convenient touches like vanity mirrors, smart TV, and USB charging ports in the nightstands. Location is ok, close to the SkyTrain and lots of stores and restaurants around, but far from any touristy things.

Easy to reach, about 5 mins walk from On Nut Station.The room is big but the decoration seems a little bit old. The in room air conditioner is not much efficiency. But overall is worth to stay, staff are friendly and the buffet breakfast is great.

Shower cubicle could have bigger entrance

visited bkk & stayed at Hotel Amber many times.. room upgraded to suite 402. spacious & clean as always. Only 2 problems: location of toilet-bowl , too close to hand basin (due to plumbing) & the entrance to shower cubicle for a large-person is a “tight-squeeze”. If glass shelving was raised by 15cm, problem would be solved. Otherwise location to train, shops, restaurants & downtown is perfect.

Rm 702 = same showerdoor entry problem, as Rm 402

visited bkk & stayed here, many times this year & historically. Rm 702 has a better toilet-bowl placement, than Rm 402. However, both Rm 702 suffers from the SAME glass showerdoor -entry& -exit, with a small than average entrance. If you was a person of larger diminsions, you would suffer here. Once again, problem can be resolved , by RAISING the glass shelving by OVER 15cm !! Otherwise... staff, service, location & amenities are all excellent. Not many faults, but these can be resolved quickly...! Good luck, Hotel Amber !
