This was an absolutely amazing experience. The Fairmont Banf has beyond excellent customer service with wonderful amenities. Variety of restaurants to choose from lots of activities and very family friendly. Great bars. The spa is wonderful. Indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi and sauna. Transportation provided into the town and great walkable trails all around. Highly recommend.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay at. We stayed in a suite which had amazing views and breakfast included. The VIP staff was incredible and helped us plan our stay a couple weeks in advance. They were also there to help in every way. Overall this hotel is the Best in Banff. (We went to the Chateau LL as well.)

My stay at the Fairmont Banff was exceptional! The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. I upgraded my room to Fairmont gold and was very happy with the amenities that came with the upgrade. Food was outstanding at the 1888 Chophouse and this was one of my best hotel experiences.

Pros: Gorgeous setting, easy walk or tram to town, staff friendly and accommodating, diverse dining options (bowling to afternoon tea), pool, and hot tub Cons: Rooms and amenities are not luxurious enough to warrant the cost

It was a mixed bag, but I enjoyed it. I would not recommend paying full price here though (it will not be worth it). I booked a gold room on Expedia, but when I got the booking all references to the gold room had disappeared. The room and the hotel were very nice. The room is large but the washroom is the size of one you would see at a hostel in China. The steak house was amazing, but the bars and vermillion restaurant were disappointing. The woman at the front desk helping you find activities in the area was amazing.

Clean room, Mountain view, super cool bar with a hidden room behind a bookcase! Disappointed in the cost of food and especially breakfast not being included; parking was also astronomically priced. AC worked really well, but pillows sucked.
