We very much enjoyed our stay at the Canalta! The location was perfect; just outside the main strip and much quieter but was an easy walk to anywhere downtown. If we didn’t feel like walking the bus stop was right outside the hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful and breakfast was great daily! We would definitely stay here again

We stayed here two nights and had a great experience. Located right on Banff Ave and a .8 mile walk to all the shops and restaurants. Clean hotel, nice staff and my family loved the hot tub. Great amenities, including breakfast and coin-operated laundry. Laundry came in handy on a 10 day trip to the area. I'd stay here again if back in the area.

Great stay! Very comfortable rooms, they were super inviting and clean. Nespresso in the rooms - yes please! Also they had a full tub, not just a shower which we liked. Friendly staff who were very accommodating. Continental breakfast had a good selection. The hot tubs are a bit small, but the hotel doesn’t have a ton of rooms, so it wasn’t busy in the courtyard while we were there.

Love this hotel! Staff was super friendly, rooms were very clean and spacious. Their decor was on point. My only complaint is that we left for hours (from early in the morning to 3-4 pm) and our room didn't get cleaned, even when we left the sign up to please clean it. Location was really good and the buffet breakfast had plenty of options.

Second stay here. Great location and kind staff. We found the washroom in our room too dimly lit so brighter Lights would be a great improvement. Jets in the hot tub weren’t fully functioning. The breakfast was amazing! All and all a great place.

Canalta Lodge was a lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is very good - about a 15 minute walk to the start of shops in Banff. The walk to the shops passes you by many restaurants as well. They have a sauna, hot tub, cold plunge pool, and a small cafe on site. In addition, they were doing free s'mores during happy hour each night. Finally - the room was great, and I enjoyed the view of the mountains while sitting out on the small balcony.
