The best things I can say is location was great and the staff were great. The kitchen had everything you needed so you could buy groceries and save money. The condition of this hostel was very outdated. I came from staying at the HI Alpine Banff Hostel, which was cheaper, in a beautiful setting and so very clean with alot more amenities. My first pick will be the HI Alpine Hostel if I come back to Banff. But I met alot of nice people from all over the world.

The beds were comfortable, the front desk nice, The only issue is that it so expensive. It's twice the cost of any other hostel I've ever stayed at, at $120 a night. I hope the owners lower the cost.

This is honestly a great place to stay for a few days, with a good breakfast spread and the friendliest staff ever, I loved interacting with them all and we laughed so much they really make the stay even better. We walked from the hostel to town every time and it is so close. I highly suggest this hostel :)
