The hotel was nice. The food was good. The room and particularly the pillows had a very very strong disinfectant smell that was very irritating to the nose and throat. I pit the pillows in the closet and put my own blanket beneath my head to sleep. Woke up with a sore throat and a headache.

The fun police have been to visit

Still the best hotel in Banda Aceh but unfortunately a few changes have taken place since my last visit. The spa has been closed down and it is no longer possible to get a beer by the pool - or anywhere else for that matter! As for the pool, if you want to swim you'll need to do so fully covered.

Very few staff speaking English (or French). Bad WiFi. Slow service, lack of knowledge of menus in restaurants. Strict implementation of sharia law even within the hotel

Nous y avons passés deux nuits et sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour. Premièrement la chambre était très grande ainsi que la salle de bains le seul point négatif est le manque de pression dans la douche.. Ensuite le petit-déjeuner était très varié Dernière chose vous êtes entouré de restaurants locaux et de brasseries.

Currently one of the better hotels in Banda Aceh

Recently I stayed for the second time at this hotel on my business trips to Banda Aceh. I am told that this was one of the better, if not currently the best hotel in Banda Aceh. It is busy most of the time with events and functions. The staff are friendly and eager to please the guests. There is a good opportunity to improve the management and train the staff, and bring this hotel up to 5 star standards. Overall it was a good stay.

Perfect luxury hotel

We stayed 8 nights at this hotel. Staff excellent, service excellent, cleanliness excellent, bed super comfy, good wifi, restaurant food and breakfast very tasty and wide selection of Indonesian and wide selection of Western food. Room service/restaurant food very overpriced for what it is - better to go to try the other local restaurants around Aceh - tastes more authentic and price is half. Swimming pool great for children very shallow water. Large pool area attached for adults.

SUPPOSED TO BE BEST HOTEL IN ACEH ALONG WITH PADO

Generally good little bit run down , very friendly staff although not many speak good english . Expensive by Aceh standards $4.50 for a coke when across road a whole meal is $2.50 Internet is poor so dont expect to do business here you can just get FB to work , but overall standard was good , very substantial buffet breakfast included and big pool , also some Fox tv , they tried hard and overall we were happy

Stay for 4 days 5 night. Large room. Free + unlimited data + devices of internet. Very nice hotel staff. Children enjoyed with the pool. Live music on night. Great food. You can eat hotel food at restaurant price. What else uh?? So many good thing here lah!!!
