We arrived to our room to find a half eaten packet of biscuits and an opened and used shower gel . When we tried to log onto the WiFi following the room information sheet it didn’t work and we were told it was all lower case not upper case as the sheet stated . We had a huge cobweb in our bathroom running from the door to the shower and everywhere looked as though it needed a coat of paint . The thermostat on the radiator in the bathroom had come off and was on the floor . The whole room just lacked tender loving care . At breakfast (which we paid extra for ) I was given an out of date packet of cereal which tasted off . People had to wait a long time for juice and hot drinks to be replenished . We had to ask for cutlery and sauces .They seemed understaffed and overwhelmed by the number of people in the dining room over breakfast . The dinner menu was fairly basic and restricted but the quality of the food was good . The staff were approachable and helpful and the cleaning team were very accommodating and made sure we had clean crockery and fresh towels . Overall we enjoyed our stay but the rooms need updating a lot if they are to be worth the rate currently being charged

Bannville Hotel has the most friendliest staff, most clean and comfortable rooms we stayed in on our week trip to Northern Ireland. I would recommend and will stay again at this lodge!!

Overnight stay in Banbridge

I chose this hotel as I was travelling back from Belfast and wanted to be in the area for the Game of Thrones Experience. It was ideally located and very reasonable including breakfast. Room was very spacious for a single. I'd recommend.

Nice Hotel

The hotel was fine, the room was reasonably clean. The mattresses on the bed could do with been changed. The staff were very friendly. The room was big. There was a lot of noise at nightime from the other guests as they passed the room.

Over the top service

We only booked one night as we didn’t know how long we needed to stay due to a family situation. The hotel kept our room open whether we used it or not and only charge for the days we are here at discounted rates. All staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and hugely empathetic.

Very happy

It was for the purpose of getting a nights sleep before a long return journey and it was perfect. We didn’t need a pool or anything just a good nights sleep and a breakfast and it provided both perfectly. Very happy.

Nice staff but rooms are looking a bit tired.

Nice staff, rooms are getting tired and are in need of refurbishment. The corridors have been freshly painted, so they may well be in the process of refurbishment. Busy restraunt, although no issues getting a seat. Food is very nice and well presented.

Could do a lot better!

Pros: plenty parking, easy to find, good food. Cons: very uncomfortable bed, 2 single beds pushed together doesn't make a king size, small tv, spiders in room, poor decor, fixed head shower / straight curtain pole does not make for a good shower experience, small thin towels, basic in-room facilities, stains on walls / ripped carpets in hallway, dated and very cheap cutlery in restaurant and no WiFi for the duration of my stay. Not a place I'll book again, sorry.
