Lovely staff and rooms, bar and restaurant are both great. Breakfast included was fab, and a lovely village too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

Perfect stay

The hotel is ideally located for exploring the area. It is well appointed, spotlessly clean and the staff are all friendly and polite. Our room was excellent and the food was great. We had breakfast and dinner during outlr stay and both were excellent.

What a lovely hotel! The room, although small, was perfectly adequate and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were so kind and attentive. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

We chose The Market Tavern because of it's location - it is in the same village where our son, daughter-in-law and new grandson live and we were visiting. The whole property has been tastefully renovated and is lovely. We had eaten in the pub before but not stayed. Bampton is a quaint village with plenty of amenities and is well placed for visiting lots of interesting places. Breakfast was good with cold and cooked choices. Staff were friendly and attentive. We would stay again
