I think it would be more helpful if this property were listed in a different accommodation category. 1. The photos gave us a very different impression from what we experienced. We were looking for a unique or upscale hotel stay, but the property felt more like a budget short-term rental. The surrounding neighborhood did not match our expectations and did not feel comfortable to us. 2. Parking was inconvenient. Street parking has time restrictions, and we were not comfortable leaving our car there. The alternative parking garage was farther away than we expected and charges by each entry, making multiple trips inconvenient. 3. The room did not appear clean. We found dead flies on the windowsill in plain sight, and the carpet was old and had an unpleasant odor. Overall, the room did not meet our expectations for cleanliness. 4. I do want to compliment the owner for being very responsive and communicating promptly throughout our stay. Unfortunately, despite the good service, the condition and location of the property did not meet our expectations. Based on our experience, we would not choose to stay at this property again.
