‘Traditional’ town centre hotel. Warm, homely feel. Our room was spacious with a 40inch tv, a good dressing table/workspace and a shower over a bath.

Room was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly. Disappointed when the room wasn't tidied on the first day. However, the rest of the days were fine. Breakfast was good. Menu a bit pricey. Hotel conveniently close to shopping, church and station. Ample car parking.

The staff and our room was very pleasant. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to eat. While you’re here, go to the neighborhood bar The Fountain to get a real taste of the local folks.

Lovely hotel. Staff were all nice and friendly. Large clean room, comfortable bed, great tea and coffee facilities in room. Night porter on duty when we came back late from a wedding was friendly and helpful. Breakfast - good selection and nicely cooked, buffet on Sunday, cooked to order on Monday.
