The hotel lives up to its historical roots . The staff were friendly and cordial. The breakfast can be a bit chaotic at times.. There are no lifts so luggage has to be man handled up the stairs The hotel is well located in the centre of town and parking easy It is well worth a visit

We loved our stay in the Balmoral Arms. The food was delicious (breakfast and evening meals) and the staff were lovely. Our room was very comfortable and the large lounge had lots of places to sit and relax. While there were no parking spaces left outside the door there was a large free car park close by, along with local shops and cafes. Great place to stay and hopefully we will return.

I loved the ambiance of this hotel and the convenient location. We loved the breakfast selection and should have eaten at the hotel restaurant for supper instead of the one we chose. The only drawback was that I didn't realize there was no elevator. However, a staff member volunteered to take our luggage to our room. Everyone here was nice and helpful.
