A hidden gem.

What pleasure to stay here! The owner is outgoing and bubbly. This is 1950s motor lodge that is good repair. Very family oriented (from a senior's perspective). We were in a backsie room, and felt like we we in a summer cottage.

This motel is quite old and a little rundown but it was also clean and the beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Definitely an older property that needs upgrading. The room was very clean and beds were comfy. The property itself is very beautiful, in the back there is a nice green space and a fire pit.

Comfortable bed

The rooms were dated but clean. Some touch ups would be nice to make it more esthetically pleasing. The mattresses on the bed were very comfortable, best sleep ive had in a long time. I would stay here again.

Frontdesk person was very nice, place was right on the highways and easy to find,nice new chairs to sit outside (albeit the gravel parking area). Facility was VERY dated, but they did the best they could with what they had. There was a fridge and micro wave but no hair dryer or coffee anywhere. This would have been fine except I had been paying the same price for motels all through the UP that were much nicer and included breakfast, pool and all amenities.

It was a relaxed comfortable room. It wasn't modern decor but didn't need upscaled decor. Got 2 beds for the price of one which was nice. They were very friendly and helpful. Not our first stay here. We were here a few years back , hubby remembered it and wanted to stay there again.

Its a motel in northern ontario on the trans canada. Bed was comfy and i liked the roku tv. Everything else is outdated like many have said and upgrades are badly needed. Curtains didnt close all the way in my room and the walls are paper thin. Its alright for an overnight place to rest if you are ok with motel environment.

The bed was clean and pretty comfortable. But the rest of the room was kinda poor. From the hole in the wall (from the door knob) patched with a chunk of something, to the mold on the bathroom ceiling and down one side of the mirror. I will say it’s very quiet at night. And the girl on the desk was very pleasant. But if you’re the least bit squeamish, look elsewhere.

I liked the quiet area in the back with fire pit, and the bed was quite comfortable with cute blankets. I did like their little soaps and shampoos Screen door was broken, cobwebs, mold, and fruit flies in the room. The only lock on the door was in the handle. No small coffee maker in the room. Roof was tarped eavesdrop broken. I would rate this room around $75-$80 max and not 115. Especially with the shape of this hotel at this moment. I’ve stayed in many of these roadside motels, and this one actually surprised me at how neglected it was
