Staff were very helpful…especially the valets.

The only reason this hotel gets 4 stars is the surrounding area. The hotel itself was lovely! The staff was super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The room was a good size especially for a lot of people just wanting to spend a night or two before a cruise. They had a Nespresso maker in the room with coffee and tea available. The lobby had water and fruit infused water 24/7 and in the morning a full coffee bar. there was an enclosed courtyard which was nice. It was a short uber ride to pikes place market. The surrounding area and safety of going out of the hotel was a little less than desirable. But there was key card entry after 10pm to get into the hotel which was nice peace of mind. If staying the night before your cruise I say go for it!

I very rarely leave reviews, but candidly, this was in no way a four-star experience. It was just not good. The room was incredibly muggy, to the point that all of my clothes felt damp throughout the weekend and were still damp when I got home. There was also significant discoloration on the bathroom wall beneath the showerhead that appeared to be mold. On top of that, multiple outlets sparked when I plugged in both the iron provided by the hotel and my phone charger, which was pretty alarming. Housekeeping was another issue. They knocked on our door before 8:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, which feels pretty absurd for a weekend. On Saturday, they knocked around 8:20 a.m. and my partner directly told a staff member that we didn’t need housekeeping at that time and that I was still getting dressed. Not even five minutes later, they knocked again. Again, I honestly can’t remember the last time I left a review for anything. I had a great time in Seattle overall, but unfortunately, the hotel itself was just blatantly not a pleasant experience.

One star because, aside from the excellent location, everything was wrong with this place. 1. The pathway to our room on the third floor has a very steep ramp that is dangerous to people with disabilities. I have a wheelchair but the ramp is very steep that it resembles a slalom race course. 2. There was NO housekeeping for 4 days! Despite repeated requests with the front desk, the room wasn't cleaned for our 4 night stay. It was only when I complained the second time because we were out of toilet paper, no dry towels, and trash cans are full that housekeeping came to provide the supplies and empty the trash. No cleaning whatsoever done. The first time we complained about the lack of housekeeping, the employee at the reception stated that we have made the request with the morning shift employees and that the they are now the mid shift. It's as if they don't have the responsibility to follow through since the request was not made during their shift. 3. Staff just pretend to write down your room number and request but they don't act on it. There's still points 4,5, 6, 7, 8 but there is no space here. It is very obvious that the employees in this facility need to be trained better. The owners, presumably Chris Tudor of Seattle, seems to not care about the upkeep of the hotel. Staff need to be trained on customer service. Turnover procedures between shifts should be improved. It is very obvious that employees in this hotel are not motivated to properly do their jo
