“This was my first solo trip on my birthday, and the staff were very helpful and kind, and the room was wonderfully cosy. I would highly recommend anyone going, and I will be returning again soon. The hotel is literally in the heart of Bakewell and close to Chatsworth House. Parking: I would recommend going to the bridge car park nearby, as it has overnight parking and reasonable priced.”

“No staff there to check us in - had to go find someone but to be fair they were doing double duty in bar and hotel. Room itself was clean and tidy but hallway carpets weren’t great. Breakfast was delicious. Could use a mini fridge in the room. Parking was ample.”
